Troubleshooting for website access

With our multi-browser capability, clients can now enjoy the same viewing experience at our website using the following browsers:

• Internet Explorer
• Mozilla Firefox
• Safari
• Google Chrome

Notwithstanding our testing, there may still be occasions where you may not be able to access our website using the above mentioned browsers. Please find below suggested steps to overcome the respective issues.

1. Difficulty in accessing www.limtan.com.sg – Clear Cache

Clearing Cache is a step to erase all existing files that may cause the browser to hang when downloading pages from our website.

Internet Explorer:

Tools->Internet Options->Delete Files->Click on "Delete all offline content"->OK

Tools->Internet Options->Delete Cookies->Click on "OK"

FireFox:

Tools-> Clear Recent History-> Click on “Details”->Select items to be cleared-> Clear Now

 

Safari:

Display a menu of general Safari Settings by clicking on icon  -> Reset Safari-> Select items to be cleared-> Reset

 

Chrome:

Select Customise and Control Google Chrome icon  ->Tools-> Clear browsing data-> Select items to be cleared-> Clear browsing data

2. How to allow pop-ups from limtan.com.sg

Internet Explorer:

Tools-> Internet Options-> Privacy-> Pop-up blocker settings-> type “ *.limtan.com.sg” to add to list

FireFox:

Tools-> Options-> Content-> Select Block pop-up windows Exceptions -> type “ *.limtan.com.sg” -> Allow

 

Safari:

Display a menu of general Safari Settings by clicking on icon -> Unchecked “Block Pop-Up Windows”

 

Chrome:
Select Customise and Control Google Chrome icon -> Options-> Select Under the Hood-> Click Content Settings under Privacy->Select Pop-ups-> Click Exceptions-> type “limtan.com.sg” to add

3. Inability to login two accounts concurrently in seperate tabs of the same browser window.

As a security precaution, our website does not allow two accounts to be logged in concurrently in separate tabs of the same browser window. Please log out from the tab or browser before you log in again. If the problem persists, please close the browser window before trying again.

 

 

4. Security Warning on Research Tab

You may experience a pop up window upon clicking on “Research” to gain access into SGX, Bursa or NetResearch content.
Please click “No” to start viewing research content.

5. Accessing NRA Capital Premium Research content on Research Tab

You may not be able to gain access to NRA Capital Premium Research content upon clicking on the “Premium” selection.

To gain access to Premium Content, please follow the steps to enable cookies: 
 
Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy -à Advanced -> Advanced Privacy Settings -> put a check on “ Override automatic cookie handling” -> Accept “First-party Cookies: -> Accept “Third-party Cookies: -> put a check on “Always allow session cookies” -> click “OK”.
